Los Tamales de Mamita: Cuban food in Miami filled with love

Behind ‘Los Tamales de Mamita’ is a pure-blooded Cuban woman. She’s not a professional chef, and she certainly doesn’t have a Michelin star, but that doesn’t matter because when Carmen enters the kitchen, what comes out is ‘Cuban deliciousness!’ 🇨🇺

A cook at heart, she started preparing and selling Cuban tamales during the pandemic as an extra source of income, an alternative used by other Cuban entrepreneurs who now have their businesses thriving. 👏

Carmen, a resident of Hialeah, has a deep love for Cuban food. Even though she has lived more in the United States than in Cuba, it hasn’t hindered her. What started as a venture, selling the tamales she made, is now a full-time family business that offers Cuban food on order throughout Miami-Dade and its surroundings. 😋

Cuban food by order

A good Cuban ‘parranda’ (party) isn’t complete without our typical food, you know, I’m talking about congri rice, yuca with mojos, tamales, and of course, some good roasted pork. 🥳

So, if you want to sit down to play dominoes with family and friends and forget about the kitchen, then call Carmen, and she’ll take care of preparing our gastronomic delights and delivering them to your doorstep.

Similarly, if you’re organizing a more serious event or activity and want to offer Cuban food to your guests, then the team at ‘Los Tamales de Mamita’ can also assist you with catering.

And don’t forget to order a good Cuban flan along with the food, to end the evening on a high note. Just remember to place your order at least 24 hours in advance.
